Gramofone audio

Possibly the world's most advanced digital-to-analogue convertor.

Asynchronous USB 2.0 for true High Definition fidelity

The forthcoming Gramofone Analogue Convertor will be among the first in the World to run natively and asynchronously in USB 2.0, using the Audio Class 2 library. This allows the convertor to accept HD (High Definition) audio files in 24 bit resolution and at sampling rates of up to 192 kHz. This represents much higher fidelity than CD quality — in effect, this is studio master quality.

Asynchronous operation allows the converter to generate the master clock locally, using a highly accurate crystal oscillator, thereby eliminating jitter-related artifacts from the USB connection and server computer itself.

(NOS) Non-OverSampling Conversion

Finally, conversion takes place using dual 24 bit laser-trimmed, Multi-bit (not Delta-Sigma) convertors, which are running in Non-Oversampling (NOS) mode — the preferred modus operandi of serious audiophiles.

Dressed in noble materials such as wood, bronze and gold, the Analogue Convertor looks stunning and opens up the world of HD digital music to the discerning audiophile.
